MNLF  MEMBERS OF BANGSAMORO PARLIAMENT ALLOCATE MEDICINES TO TAWI-TAWI
The Bangsamoro Members of Parliament from the Moro Nationa Liberation Front (MNLF), Deputy Speaker Uztadz Abdulkarim Misuari, MP Nur Rheda Misuari allocated essential medicines to the people of Tawi-Tawi from their Transition Development Funds worth millions of pesos. Included in the allocation of medicine packages are the provinces of Sulu and Basilan.
Last August 2, 2025, a truckload of essential medicines arrived by commercial boat at IPHO Tawi-Tawi, Bongao and was received by Dr. Sangkula G. Laja, the provincial health officer 2 of IPHO Tawi-Tawi, Ministry of Health BARMM. According to Dr. Laja, MPs Abdulkarim Misuari and MP Nur Rheda Misuari always prioritized island provinces especially Tawi-Tawi to address the sentiments of island residents of always being left behind by the government in terms of impact BARMM projects and programs. MP Abdulkarim Misuari is the current Acting Chairman of the Moro National Liberation Front. MNLF under the leadership of Prof. Nur Misuari signed the 1996 Final Peace Agreement ending decades of violence and hostilities in the southern Philippines.
 
IPHO BHW MNLF Combatants under the leadership of Commander Sabre Sasapan of the Tawi-Tawi State Revolutionary Committee of the MNLF extended their helping hand by transfering 500 boxes of medicines box to the storage at IPHO.
 
The medicines packages included essential medicines for hypertension, diabetes, basic antibiotics and vitamins for malnourished children. These medicines as agredd by MNLF and IPHO will be delivered to different rural health units and barangay clinics in the island province of Tawi-Tawi.
