Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. On this most sacred occasion of Eid Al-Adha, I extend my warmest greetings to our Mujahideen, brothers and sisters in the Bangsamoro homeland, and to the entire Muslim Ummah.
This day, commemorating the ultimate sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), is a powerful reminder of our own journey as a people—a journey marked by faith, resilience, and the pursuit of justice. For fifty-seven years, the Moro National Liberation Front has remained steadfast in its struggle for the inalienable right of the Bangsamoro to self-determination, justice, and a life built upon truth, dignity, and egalitarianism.
Eid Al-Adha is not only a celebration of obedience to the will of Allah (SWT), but also a call to reflect on the sacrifices we continue to make for the liberation and upliftment of our people. Through the pain of displacement, the burden of marginalization, and the long years of conflict, our cause has never faltered. It has only deepened—shaped by the blood of our martyrs, the prayers of our mothers, and the hopes of our youth.
As we offer our qurban this Eid, let us renew our collective commitment to unity, justice, and peace—the very pillars of our struggle. Let us honor the sacred trust passed on by generations of freedom fighters by remaining true to our purpose and grounded in our identity as Muslims and as Bangsamoro.
May Allah accept our sacrifices, reward our perseverance, and grant lasting peace and prosperity to our homeland.
Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum. Eid Mubarak.
